The work included site construction associated with the FEMA Primary Entry Point (PEP) Expansion Program and incidental related work. The work was performed for KBR under the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) task order, USACE Omaha District’s Security, Disaster, Infrastructure, Construction (SDIC) contract.
The demolition scope of work included the removal of existing fuel lines, preparation of existing fuel tank for removal by others.
The construction scope included earthwork, erosion and sediment control, clearing and grubbing, excavating, hauling, loading, unloading, dewatering, trenching, backfilling, soil treatment for termite control, cast in-place concrete footings and foundations, forms, reinforcing bars, expansion joints, pre-molded expansion joint filler, finishing, gravel surface material, vaults, chain link fence, chain link gates, posts, rails, braces, wire, ties, miscellaneous fittings and hardware, structural steel pipe supports, fuel oil system piping and controls, painting and labeling of all fuel piping, setting fuel oil system components, and electrical work including temporary power, grounding, electrical service, emergency power generator, fuel filtration system process control, lighting, and communications as necessary to provide a complete installation and fully operational system in full accordance with plans and specifications.
